Toronto RV Show

Today I took a day off. A day off from blogging, the computer, tour buses and Niagara Falls. I drove up to Toronto and spent about 4 hours wandering every corner of the Congress Centre for the Toronto winter Recreational Vehicle Show.

This was the usual BIG "inside in the winter" RV show. If there's a recession, it was hard to tell. Although I suspect that there were fewer buyers and more lurkers.

Front Wheel Drive Motorhome?

You bet. The fabulous GMC Motorhome was a front wheel drive vehicle. In fact that is one of the main reasons GMC stopped making the GMC. Front wheel drive didn't appear to have a future in the car industry (smile when you say that).

Here's a perfect example of a GMC Motorhome as it still looks in the 21st century. Remember, these beauties were only made from 1973 to '78.

Motorhome vs Travel Trailer

Oh, I know, this is a no-win situation. Every form of recreational vehicle is better than the other, depending on who is telling the story.
